Manifesto
Apparently it’s important when you start a blog to have a point. A manifesto if you like. But I’m not entirely sure what the manifesto should be. I’m not suggesting we rise up or anything strenuous like that. Certainly there’s no rush.
I know that I’m vaguely uneasy about being categorised. I’m distrustful of marketing men who try and flog me stuff. Similarly I suspect the government considers me only in terms of how much tax income I generate so they can employ more outreach workers. But it’s not all bad stuff either. I like having a beer, good jokes, inventions & gadgets, helicopters, internet marketing, writing a killer line, the unfettered honesty of my four year old son, cars and easy to understand information from any source that can shed light on the meaning of life (which seems to be less clear with each passing day). So you can see that thinking up an all encompassing manifesto that covers all the facets of being a modern bloke is quite hard. I’ll come back to this in a bit. Or not. Suggestions are welcome.
